“Everything happens for a reason” is a quote that has resonated with me from a young age.
There are many situations that occur during our lives that we don’t understand, however hindsight can be a beautiful thing.
From just two years old my life lesson on change had started without me even knowing. My family had lived in four countries by the time I was 13 before finally settling here in the beautiful land of Australia.
Growing up in 4 completely different countries has certainly shaped the woman I have become today. Naturally I had learnt so much about life, culture, adaptation and most importantly, myself as a person.
In the midst of these moves, life did seem hard at times and I had to really learn to adapt to my situation and new surroundings.
I was being educated on how to connect with people of all different cultures, something that has become so important to me now.
Although the circumstances weren’t always easy, it was fate that brought me to beautiful Australia and ultimately lead me to obtaining this prestigious title. I have always known I wanted to help people ever since I was a child but I had no idea how rewarding it would be or how much joy I would get from it. My journey to becoming Miss Intercontinental Australia has been the most incredible time of my life and I have so much gratitude for it. I know this is my calling and the work I am putting in to help others goes so much further then just my title.
