I pride myself on being a beauty queen with a difference and feel I truly embody the Miss Intercontinental ethos of celebrating women for all their beauty and differences. I am so excited to represent England at the Miss Intercontinental final in the Philippines just 9months after winning a silver medal for England in weightlifting at the Commonwealth Games in Australia.
I have used my platform as a beauty queen to show women and young girls how to lead a healthy lifestyle and to look after their bodies and I have recently qualified as a nutritionist. My weightlifting career means my figure is different to many women and especially beauty queens due to the muscle mass I have. As a child I was bullied for being muscular when I was a gymnast, but I am now more muscular than I was and I am now completely confident in my body as what it can do is truly special. Not many people can lift twice their own body weight over their head and I am excited to take my body confidence platform to an international stage.
I am the owner of a global company coaching weightlifting online to people all over the world with clients all over the UK as well as Switzerland, Australia, Singapore and many more. I love travelling the world and learning about different cultures and I am lucky to have travelled to 10 countries in 2018. I have not yet visited the Philippines and I am really excited to learn more about the culture whilst visiting for the Miss Intercontinental pageant.
