My name is Hillary Hollmann Del Prado. I’m 22 years old and I have always believed that dreams come true. This is my story: I was born in La Guajira, northern Colombia. I have 3 brothers that along with my parents have always supported me in everything I have ever wanted. I started my major in social media and journalism at my 16 years in Barranquilla, Colombia which I intend to conclude next year.
In Colombia we have the sea of the seven colors, an incredibly rich environment in fauna and flora, many native cultures, Barranquilla´s Carnival, the flower festival in Medellin, we are the world’s best quality coffee producers and have been catalogued as one of the happiest countries. I feel lucky to have grown in a land full of culture and biodiversity, with astonishing landscapes and sunsets that would make anyone fall in love.
I grew up in front of the sea which I really enjoyed. I am very energetic; I love to help people, doing social work, being up to date in worldwide news, sports, and share time with my family and friends.
For two years I have been working in a model agency that has taken me to amazing places and make me live unforgettable experiences such as shootings, runways, music videos and even the fashion week in Medellin. This makes me feel proud considering that 5 years ago I wouldn’t have imagined it.
I can say it is one of the best experiences of my life to represent Colombia in this beautiful contest and I expect to be Miss Intercontinental 2018. Reach the hearts of the people, prove that we are more than a pretty face and empower ourselves as confident women, with innovative ideas and love for social work.
See you soon Philippines!
