Marina was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, a vibrant city renowned for its multiculturalism and rich cultural tapestry.

She graduated with honours from Wilfrid Laurier University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Economics. With several years of experience in the banking industry, Marina brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her professional endeavours, having successfully saved the bank over $1.5 million from fraud. Driven by a desire to empower others, she founded the Finspire Foundation, offering free financial literacy workshops to at-risk youth, abused women in shelters, immigrants, and single-household families. Her mission is to inspire confidence and promote financial independence in those who need it most. Additionally, Marina works with a local NGO to tackle period poverty and advocate for social change in Canada.

A multi-faceted individual, Marina stays active by running marathons and practising Pilates. As a passionate traveller, she has explored 15 countries, constantly seeking new experiences and diverse cuisines. Her belief in the importance of cross-cultural understanding led her to live and work for a start-up tech company in Greece in 2018. In her spare time, she enjoys modelling, acting, and immersing herself in a good book.
