Varvara Yakovenko is the new Miss Intercontinental 2025, Marking another Victory for Russia since Valentina Rasulova won last time in 2015 in Germany. The 53rd edition of the Miss Intercontinental pageant, held on January 29, 2025, in Sahl Hasheesh, Egypt concluded with a win for Russia and first runner-up from Cuba. Maria Cepero from Puerto Rico crowned her successor in the Arena of ThE V LUXURY Resort.

A splendid Night in Egypt

The pageant, hosted by german/american Lutz Riemenschneider and Kenyian TV and Radio Host Azeezah was successfully streamed live on the Miss Intercontinental YouTube channel. The night was filled with glamour, and attended by many international guests.

Top 20 plus 2 “Special Awards” and the first Popularity Award by THE V LUXURY HOTEL

The Top 20 finalists included the contestants from Russia, Kenya, Thailand, Cuba, Germany, Czech Republic, Brazil, Colombia, Vietnam, Macao, Ecuador, Netherlands, Philippines, Tanzania, Slovak Republic, Cameroon, USA, Spain, New Zealand, Nigeria, Mexico, Romania and India. The 2 Fast Track Awards, the “Peoples Choice Award” was received by Tanzania, Faidah Kassim and the “Power of Beauty” Title was given to the Philippines Christina Labareno Vanhefflin. A back to back as last year the Philippines won the Power of Beauty Award as well. Special awards highlighted the glamerous event, with  Varvara Yakovenko winning Miss Photogenic,  Cristine Marquez de Neves winning the Miss Congeniality and Nguyen Thi Thu Nang, she won the Best National Costume. Also Miss Intercontinental Kenya Brilliant Mukanda Maroko clinching Best in Swimsuit. 1 more award given by THE V LUXURY Resorts have been given to Eva Aloisa van Bellen (Miss Popularity) and the new title Miss Strenght and Harmony to Hansana Balasuriya from Sri Lanka.

The judging panel included experts and honorable personalities like Maria Cepero, Miss Intercontinental 2025, Rodi Omar, Owner of Crewspot Beauty Lounge, Christoph Hoffman, Owner and Founder of D-Rock Champagne, Alyssa Redondo, Power of Beauty Winner and Miss Intercontinental Europe Celina Weil.

The Miss Intercontinental 2025 pageant was celebrating 53 years. It was a celebration of beauty, culture, and fashion and brought together a worldwide audience who travelled to Egypt at the THE V LUXURY Resort celebrating the women empowerment and the new winner from Russia.
